Joseph Chou worked on Animatrix, based on the "Matrix" trilogy of Warner Bros., before producing the OVA "Halo Legends", a cooperative work between Japan and the United States based on the famous game "Halo" and the movies "Appleseed" and "Appleseed EX MACHINA". He then produced an anime version of the renowned series Starship Troopers entitled "Starship Troopers: Invasion" (2012), "Space Pirate Captain Harlock" (2013),"Appleseed alpha" (2014) and "STARSHIP TROOPERS Traitor of Mars (2017 *2018 in the US)", bringing Japan and the United States closer thanks to entertainment. He is now settled in Japan, travelling all over the world for productions in Japanese, English and Korean.

His latest works are "ULTRAMAN" and "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045".

Shinji Aramaki

Shinji ARAMAKI was born in Fukuoka on 2 October 1960. He worked as a mechanic designer and his work was soon noticed by the animation world. His skills can be seen in works such as "Genesis Climber MOSPEADA" (1983), "Gasaraki" (1998), "Astro Boy" (2003) and REIDEEN (2007). He began directing with the OVA "Metal Skin Panic MADOX 01" (1988). In 2004, he decided to work on Appleseed, a manga written by Masamune Shirow, the mangaka of Ghost in the Shell. This full 3DCG anime, based on toon shading and motion capture was unprecedented and has been acclaimed in Japan and overseas as well. In 2007, he directed the sequel "EX MACHINA" which was highly appraised too. He produced "VIPER’S CREED" in 2009, a TV series for Animax. He worked for various TV series such as Fullmetal Alchemist (2003-2004, production design), on the OVA "Bubblegum Crisis" (1987-1991, production design) and "Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO" (2004-2006, mechanics design), on the movie "Ping Pong" (2002, storyboard), "NARUTO the movie: Ninja Clash in the land of Snow" (2004, mechanics design), "Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa" (2005, production design), "Starship Troopers: Invasion" (2012, director), "Captain Harlock" (2013, director), "Appleseed alpha" (2014, director),"STARSHIP TROOPERS Traitor of Mars" (2017, director) and other works..

His latest works are "ULTRAMAN" and "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045".

He studied at the Digital Hollywood professional school and his graduation movie "il" was selected by the international CG Conference SIGGRAPH, Animation Theatre.

He joined Trilogy Corporation as an animator for "GO! Anpanman" OP movie, and was also the Animation Director for the full 3DCG anime "PiNMeN".

Then, he was involved as a freelancer in numerous renowned productions including "Thunder Bunny", "Gundam Evolve", "My Little Lover" and "Ultraman Cosmos Theater Version".

Later, as he worked on the OVA "Macross Zero", he decided to join SATELIGHT Inc. Working as the CGI producer of "Aquarion (TV, theater version)", "Macross F (TV, theater version)", "Bashcash! (TV animation)" etc, he took in charge the direction of important CG parts of Satelight’s animation works.

He joined SOLA DIGITAL ARTS as a board member in 2015 and is still with us today.

His latest works are "ULTRAMAN" and "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045".

Makiko Nagano

CFO / Studio Manager

After first working for a major paper trading company, she worked some time as a flower artist. Later, she became in charge of videogram production and copyright management in the Entertainment industry.

She then joined A.D.Vision (current Sentai Filmworks), a big animation company based in the US, where she took part in the distribution of Japanese animation overseas. As a production manager, she was the link between the US headquaters and the Japanese major publishers, broadcasts and movie production companies.

In 2009, along with our current CEO Joseph Chou, she acted as a bridge between Microsoft and Japanese animation companies for the production of "Halo Legends". After the establishment of SOLA DIGITAL ARTS Inc. in 2010, she kept her position on the production management and the finance sections.
